Step 1:
Sthanika Pichu Method: Take warm oil in a clean bowl and have at hand cotton cloths or pads covering the entire affected area. Cloth thickness should be approximately half an inch.
Step 2:
Dip the cloth/pad into warm oil, ensuring it is well soaked and saturated with the medicated formulation.
Step 3:
Place the soaked cotton cloth/pad onto the affected part and leave it on for 15 to 30 minutes or more, depending on condition severity.
Step 4:
To maintain warmth, periodically warm the oil and exchange cotton pads/cloth with warm ones throughout the duration.
Step 5:
Abhyangam Method: Warm the oil and apply it to the entire body, starting from the top and massaging down to the soles of the feet.
Step 6:
Perform a traditional full-body massage for 20-40 minutes. Leave the oil on for a preferable duration based on your schedule.
Step 7:
Follow up with a warm bath using Shesha Ayurveda Nalpamaradi Soap or natural shower gel to remove oil residue completely.
