In Sanskrit, Shesha (Sanskrit: Šeşa), also known as Sheshanaga (Šeşanāga) or Adishesha (Adi Sesa), is the nagaraja or King of all Nägas — one of the primal beings of creation, upon whom Lord Vishnu rests at the end of each cosmic cycle.
